Wimborne Colts have been a successful squad over recent seasons.
They field two teams, The Crusaders and The Pilgrims, and compete in the Dorset and Wilts Merit Tables, Crusaders in Div 1, and Pilgrims in Div 2.

Training is held at Leigh Park on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 7.00 until 9.00.

New players are always welcome, whether it's to try the game for the fist time, or to advance their club or school rugby experience. Contact the team manager, Trevor Smith , for further details or come along to training, join in and meet the players.

Wimborne Colts have their own password protected messageboard which is used to keep everyone up to date with fixtures, team selections and Colts news.If you are eligible to use the Messageboard and need to know the password, please contact Team Manager Trevor Smith for details.

In time honoured tradition, the season will conclude with a Colts tour - further details to follow.

Wimborne RFC - Canadian Link

Former Wimborne Colt Joe Green experienced fantastic Canadian hospitality in Edmonton this year.
The Edmonton Clansmen Rugby Club (www.clanrugby.com) looked after him and he became part of their Coaching Team.
He had a great time, was looked after, given work and met some great mates.

If anyone from Wimborne RFC would like to visit / stay in Edmonton and play or coach rugby next summer, The Clansmen Rugby Club will make you more than welcome.
If you'd like any information on the expierience, call Joe on 07739 317 588 or Rick Green on 07733 368 393 and they will help with any questions.
This could be a great opportunity for any Colts leaving at the end of the season, to experience rugby in Canada before going on to University.

In the meantime, there are two Canadian Clansmen in our midst: Galen and Daniel. They are both 18 and training and playing at Wimborne. Please make them welcome.
They are here until May 2010, a couple of extremely nice, polite lads who are keen to improve their rugby.

Wimborne RFC Colts - Sponsored Abseil
The Colts held a sponsored abseil event on the water tower at Tower Park on Saturday 7th November.
Proceeds from this event will be shared between the Colts tour to France and the Club Development Fund.
